Start standing in a circle.
a. We usually clap the beat when singing the 1st 2 lines

b. Follow actions in song e.g. stamp feet, sway hips and clap hands.
c. Count with fingers on the '1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.'

Here is the beehive, where are the bees? (clench fist and use other hand to cover fist)
Hidden away were nobody sees
Here they come buzzing out of their hives,

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, (bring out fingers 1 by 1)
Buzz, buzz, buzz.

Parent and child activity: massage childs palm with your thumb in circular movements.
On 'One step, Two step' take finger steps up arm then tickle under arm or on neck.

We're going to the moon.

We'll be there very soon

5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 0 - Lift OFF !

ACTIVITY:
Baby/crawler sits on parent's lap and is rocked side to side.
On "Lift OFF!" Lift them up high.
Older children stand, legs apart and rock side to side.
On "Lift OFF!" They 'zoom' around the room.

DEVELOPS:
Balance centre in inner ear.
Sense of anticipation.

One, two, three, four, five,
Once I caught a fish alive.
Six, seven, eight, nine, ten,
Then I let him go again!

Three fat sausages frying in a pan...
Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle, one went BANG!
Two fat sausages frying in a pan...

One fat sausage frying in a pan...

There were no fat sausages frying in a pan
None went pop! and none went bang!
